The Trinity: Part One

August 20, 2025

How can one God exist in three Persons? The Trinity is not just a mystery to wrestle with: it’s the very foundation of our faith. If we misunderstand who God is, we will misunderstand salvation, worship, prayer, and the gospel itself.
Key Points:
- One God: The Bible is clear: there is only one God.
- Three Persons: Father, Son, and Spirit revealed in Scripture, distinct yet united.
- Deity of the Son & Spirit: Jesus and the Spirit are not created or lesser beings, but fully divine.
- Unity in Equality: The Father plans, the Son redeems, the Spirit seals — three Persons, one God, one mission.
The Trinity is not three gods or one Person in three disguises. God is one in essence, three in Persons — co-equal, co-eternal, co-glorious. This truth is central to our salvation and worship.
