The Trinity: Part 2

August 27, 2025
This is Part 2 of our study on the Trinity, where we continue exploring one of the most important truths of the Christian faith. The Trinity is not just a mystery to wrestle with — it’s the very foundation of what we believe. If we misunderstand who God is, we will misunderstand salvation, worship, prayer, and the gospel itself.

Key Points:
One God: The Bible is clear: there is only one God.
Three Persons: Father, Son, and Spirit revealed in Scripture, distinct yet united.
Deity of the Son & Spirit: Jesus and the Spirit are not created or lesser beings, but fully divine.
Unity in Equality: The Father plans, the Son redeems, the Spirit seals — three Persons, one God, one mission.
The Trinity is not three gods or one Person in three disguises. God is one in essence, three in Persons — co-equal, co-eternal, co-glorious. This truth is central to our salvation and worship.

Key Scriptures: Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, Isaiah 45:5, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16–17, Matthew 28:19, John 14:16–17, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Jude 20–21, John 1:1,14, John 20:28, Colossians 2:9, Acts 5:3–4, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Hebrews 9:14, John 14:26, John 15:26, Ephesians 1:3–14

As we conclude this study, we’re reminded that the Trinity is not just a doctrine to affirm but a reality to shape our worship, our prayers, and our daily walk with God.
