He Chose The Cross

December 28, 2025
Today, we step into the Garden of Gethsemane and witness the final hours before Jesus’ arrest, trial, and crucifixion. In this message, we see a Savior who is not weak but submissive — a Jesus who chooses the path of obedience, protects His own, and embraces the cross willingly. Learn what it means to follow a Savior who walks before us, controls the moment, and submits fully to the Father’s will so we can stand forgiven.

Key Points:
- Jesus will never ask us to walk a road He has not already walked Himself.
- Following the will of God will not always feel safe, but it will always be right.
- We do not serve a weak Savior. We serve a submissive one.
- Jesus places Himself directly between danger and those He loves.
- The cross is not an accident to avoid or a threat to fight. It is a cup to receive.
- God’s will is not accomplished through force, but through obedience.

Key Scriptures: John 18:1–11, Matthew 4:19

Jesus did not go to the cross out of weakness but out of perfect obedience to the Father. He submitted Himself so we could receive salvation and walk in freedom. Watch this message to see a Savior who leads the way, guards His people, and models trust in God’s will — even in the darkest hour. Will you trust Him with your life?
