Only Jesus Can Open Blind Eyes
May 1, 2025
Today we walk through how the same Jesus who declared “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8) shows His power not just to see us, but to heal and transform us—physically and spiritually.
If Jesus doesn’t move toward the blind man, he stays in darkness. If Jesus doesn’t step into our world, we stay blind too. But He did step in. He did see. He still heals. And today, we see how. This is the power of Jesus—the Light of the World—and it still opens blind eyes.
Key Points:
– Not every suffering is punishment—sometimes it’s preparation for purpose.
– Jesus sees what others overlook.
– Healing often comes through obedience.
– You don’t have to know all the answers—just share your story of what Jesus did.
– Light doesn’t negotiate with darkness—it drives it out.
– The blind man didn’t just get his sight—he got a Savior.
– He didn't have theology degrees—he had a testimony.
"I went. I washed. I received sight." That’s the power of an encounter with Jesus. You may feel forgotten, stuck in the dark, or unsure of your next step. But Jesus sees you, moves toward you, and offers healing that goes far deeper than the eyes. You don’t need to prove a point—you just need to share your story. A risen Savior still opens eyes today. Will you let Him open yours?
