How can we experience peace when trouble surrounds us? Psalm 3 was written during one of the darkest seasons of David’s life. His son Absalom had turned against him, the people were abandoning him, and David was forced to flee Jerusalem. He could not stop the rebellion, control what would happen next, or force the people to remain loyal. Yet in the middle of it all, David was able to rest. Peace is not the absence of trouble. It is confidence in the presence and protection of God. In this message from Psalm 3, Pastor Drew Rowley shares how David turned his attention away from what others were saying and back to what he knew about the Lord. His circumstances had not changed, but David remembered that God had not changed.

It is not found in knowing exactly how everything will work out, but in knowing the One who holds it all. If you are walking through uncertainty, carrying a burden you cannot fix, or struggling to rest because trouble seems to keep multiplying, we pray this message reminds you that God is still your shield, your glory, and the lifter of your head.
