The Final Call: Believe Before It's Too Late
March 30, 2025
This week’s message from John 8:21-30 is a sobering reminder of what’s at stake when we reject Jesus. Jesus warns, “Ye shall die in your sins.” That isn’t a threat—it’s a plea. A final call. He’s speaking to people who will one day desperately seek the Messiah—but will have missed Him. Without faith, Jesus says, “Whither I go, ye cannot come.” It’s not about trying harder. It’s about believing before it’s too late.
Key Points:
• Rejecting Christ doesn’t just affect this life—it leads to eternal separation from Him.
• Rejecting Jesus means dying in your sins.
• We’re all born sinful, broken, and lost—but we can be born again.
• Only Jesus can wash away our sin. Salvation is a gift of mercy, not effort.
• The truth doesn’t change just because people refuse to believe it.
• Unbelief isn’t a lack of knowledge—it’s a hardened heart.
• Ignorance of God is a choice.
• The cross is the ultimate revelation of who Jesus is.
• God’s presence is found in obedience—Jesus was never alone, and neither are we.
• The gospel demands a response. So… how will you respond?
