The Judgement of the Nations

March 5, 2025

In today’s study, we see that when Christ returns, He will judge the nations, deciding who will enter His Millennial Kingdom. This judgment is based entirely on one standard—how nations have treated Israel. This moment marks the transition from the rule of sinful man to the righteous reign of Christ, where only those who align with His will remain. Unlike earthly courts, His judgment is final, perfect, and rooted in absolute truth.
Knowing what lies ahead should shape how we live today—compelling us to pursue righteousness, remain faithful, and serve Christ with unwavering devotion.

Key Points:
The Judgement of the Nations marks the transition from the rule of sinful man to the reign of Christ. For the first time in history, only righteous nations will exist.
Key Scriptures: Matthew 25.31-46, Joel 3.1-2, 1 Corinthians 6.2
Throughout history, how nations treated Israel has been a decisive factor in their blessing or judgment. This will be the final, ultimate example of that principle in action.
Key Scriptures: Matthew 25.40, Genesis 12.3
The Judgement of the Nations happens before the Millennium; the Great White Throne happens after. This is for living nations; the Great White Throne is for the dead. This takes place on Earth; the Great White Throne occurs in eternity. These events are separate and distinct in God’s timeline. There is no "general judgment" where all people are judged at the same time.
Key Scriptures: Genesis 12.3

Unlike earthly rulers, Christ’s judgment is final, perfect, and cannot be appealed. Every decision He makes is based on righteousness and truth, and no corruption, bribery, or deception will affect the outcome.
