The New Heaven and the New Earth

This study completes our look at the Great White Throne Judgment with the final sentencing in Revelation 20:15, then transitions to the believer’s eternal future in the New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem.
Key Points: 
The Great White Throne Judgment is real. This is the final, conscious, eternal punishment of the wicked. It is the moment where God’s justice is fully executed—and mercy is no longer available. Every soul is now in its final, eternal state—either in the presence of God, or separated from Him forever.
From the final sentence of the wicked, we now step into the final reward of the righteous. This is the world we’ve been waiting for. This marks the end of time and the beginning of the eternal state. The old earth and old heaven—corrupted by sin—pass away completely.
We must make an important distinction: the Church—the Bride of Christ—dwells in the New Jerusalem, while the saved nations inherit the New Earth. These saved nations include those redeemed from other dispensations—such as Old Testament saints, Tribulation saints, and Millennial believers.
