Who is Jesus? Confusion and Rejection at the Feast

February 16, 2025

In John 7:25-36, we witness the confusion and rejection of Jesus at the Feast. Despite His bold teachings and miracles, many struggle to recognize who He truly is. Their reliance on traditions and assumptions blinds them to the truth standing right in front of them. This passage invites us to examine whether we truly know Jesus, or if we are simply familiar with Him through the lens of our own expectations.
🗝️ Key Points:
Relying on traditions and assumptions about Jesus can blind you to who He truly is and what He came to do.
Spiritual blindness isn’t always a lack of knowledge—it’s often a refusal to see beyond what’s comfortable.
Familiarity with Jesus does not equal faith in Jesus.
Rejecting Jesus means rejecting God Himself.
A hardened heart will always find reasons to reject the truth.
God’s timing and plan for you cannot be undone by man.
True faith is built on who He is, not just what He does.
If you need constant proof to believe, you’re not walking by faith—you’re walking by sight.
Don’t wait until you have no other choice—seek Jesus today because He was always the only answer.

Jesus' message is clear—He is the answer we seek, not just in times of crisis but every day. His divine mission cannot be thwarted by man, and His timing and plan for our lives are always perfect. Don’t wait until it’s too late to seek Jesus—acknowledge who He is and surrender to Him today. True faith is not about seeking constant proof; it’s about trusting in who Jesus is and what He came to do for us.
